Tomorrow, Wednesday Feb 15^th is our final week of our parable study. This week’s parable is “The Ten Virgins.” Hope to see you at church at 7pm. Once again, youth group will meet at that same time. Next week, February 22^nd is Ash Wednesday, and for the next 6 weeks during Lent we will be exploring the Tabernacle and discovering how Christ was foreshadowed through and fulfilled the Old Testament system of worship.

Our Evangelism Prayer team will be having it’s first meeting Ash Wednesday after the service. We will meet after the service every week during Lent. If you are interested in being on the Prayer Team, but are unable to make it on Wednesday nights, let me know and we can schedule a secondary time.

Sunday February 26^th we are happy to have Pastor Jonathan and Tamba Abel share with us during our worship time about their missions work in Brazil.

Beginning in March: Ruth, Ruined and Redeemed. A portrait of Christ and His church. Sundays 10:15am.

As the sunsets on another day, I am grateful for the promise a new one tomorrow. Has we consider the week before us, here are a few times to keep in mind.

Tomorrow Wednesday February 8th or adult Bible study continues at at 7pm. This week parable is “The Parable of the Tenants.” Youth group for Junior and Senior high will be meeting at that time as well.

Lent begins in only two weeks! Plan to join us Wednesdays from 7:00 – 7:55 PM starting February 22nd for our new series “Shadows of the Cross.” Each week during Lent, will discover why the Old Testament Tabernacle is important and how it foreshadowed Christ.

I hope you are all dug out after the snow fall yesterday. It was good to be reminded how clean and fresh we are by the blood of Christ. As we begin this new week please be mindful of a couple of items.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25^th, we will be starting our new four week Bible Study  looking at four different parables of Jesus. – on tap for this Wednesday is the Good Samaritan. We will meet at church starting at 7pm. Please join us.

Also, a reminder of our Annual Meeting coming up on this Sunday, January 29^th. Please be in prayer for this important event, and plan to attend.

A look ahead:

This Sunday we will be privileged to hear from Justo Pillman. Justo and his wife Priscilla will be moving to Ecuador as missionaries. They will be talking about their ministry both in our Sunday School time, and during our worship service.
