Outreach Meetings12. August, 2012BlogComments OffRenewed in Christ September 23rd – 26th 7pmPastor Kevin Garner, serving Fox River, IL will be our speaker. A nursery will be provided as well as a separate children’s program. Each evening will feature special music from local artists. In preparation for this event, we will continue to pray around the fishnet after church. If there are people God is leading you to invite, place their name on a fish and put it the fishnet. Starting the last Sunday in August, an continuing for the next four Sundays, we will be having small group prayer meetings at various homes. Download a printable fish cutout here Ephesians 4:22-24. Encourages us to put off the old garments of sin and to put on the new garments of Christ. We invite you to come and experience the newness of life Christ has for each one of us. |

The Presence of Christ21. December, 2011BlogComments OffDid your parents ever tell you that the true meaning of Christmas is not about the presents? If so they were wrong. Christmas is indeed “All about the Presents” — the “Presence of Christ.” For the greatest Gift ever given was Emmanuel – God With Us —- the presence of Christ. Although His coming was anticipated by many, the response to His arrival was as varied as the type of people He came to save. Join us Saturday, December 24th at 4:00 PM for our Christmas Eve Candle Light Service, where we will take a closer look at some of the “Reactions to the Birth (or presence) of Christ.” |
